In the winter of 2007, Julia Moss graduated The George Washington University with a degree in Political Communication . Instead of relaxing on a beach or backpacking through Europe, Julia jumped on a plane to Des Moines, Iowa for the first contest of the primary season. After three weeks of tracking down candidates and running around in the snow of Iowa and New Hampshire all the while blogging at Iowa Adventure Julia came back to Washington D.C. to start “Moss Grows On You” – her political playground. Julia was an intern in the fall of 2007 at CBSnews.com where she produced political pieces for the web. In 2006 she was the midterm election intern at National Public Radio. Before having an interest in journalism, Julia interned at the Progressive Jewish Alliance in Los Angeles and for the United Farm Workers working on economic justice campaigns.
